Safety on Campus

We work closely with organistations to educate our community about how to be safe on campus and be part of a safe and welcoming commuity to all. You can view our pdf guide to personal safety here or find further information, support and guidance on our website

What is the International Welcome Programme?

Every year the University of Nottingham runs a free Welcome Programme for all new international students joining us in September. This is an excellent opportunity for you to meet staff and students at the University, get to know your campus, complete some practical formalities and attend social events and activities online.

While this year is going to look quite different, we still want to make sure you feel welcomed and supported as you travel to and settle in to Nottingham.

Don't forget to check out your hall's Facebook group which is a great place to start making new friends and find out who your neighbours are!  Not in halls?  There is also a group for students living outside of halls too.  Your will find all the links you need here.

We are asking anyone who would like to be part of the International Welcome Programme to register their interest in being a part of the event.

Register interest in being part of the event

We know it’s a long registration form, but we need all of this information so we can support your arrival to the UK and University.

Bookings for the Welcome Programme are limited, so please sign up soon to avoid disappointment.

Please note: information relating to airport transfers can be found in the FAQs below.

We have prepared some FAQs for students planning to join us in September.
