The majority of University of Nottingham students have the opportunity to study abroad during their university career.
Nottingham has 200 partners in 40 different countries spanning six different continents across four different exchange programmes. These include Inter-campus exchange, University-wide exchange, Summer Schools and school exchanges.
We'll be able to help you with information about costs, opportunities and what you should be considering when choosing what option might be best for you.
If your degree programme includes a semester or year abroad as part of the curriculum, please visit information on integrated study abroad opportunities.

Before talking to our team, make sure you look through the opportunities available in your subject area and bring details of any mandatory courses in your degree. You can view the study abroad options for your school/department on our Faculty Study Abroad Opportunities pages.
You can also email or visit our Facebook or instagram pages to see the wide range of opportunities we offer and how they've benefitted students.
To find out more information, visit any of our Student Services Centres or contact the Study abroad team.
Please be aware that study abroad, compulsory year abroad, optional placements/internships and integrated year in industry opportunities may change at any time for a number of reasons, including curriculum developments, changes to arrangements with partner universities or placement/industry hosts, travel restrictions or other circumstances outside of the university's control. Every effort will be made to update this information as quickly as possible should a change occur.
