Coming soon - changes to student services

We're beginning to make some big changes to student services at The University of Nottingham.

From August 2016, you’ll be able to get help and support for a range of issues from a number of new service centres. The way that all students access certain services across the University will be very different and you may have already seen work taking place at a number of sites across our campuses. We're also developing new online services which will become available online through 2016/2017.

What's new?

New Student Service Centres

Five new service centres will open across each of our campuses replacing the current service centres at University Park, Jubilee Campus and Sutton Bonington and offering a wider range of services.

A new online system

We’re introducing a new online system called MyNottingham, giving you personalised access to student support and services.

Everything else you might need to know

Student Service Centres

We’re introducing five new service centres in various locations across our campuses, as well as a small number of satellite offices providing support to students in locations such as Humanities, Royal Derby Hospital, and City Hospital.

Your one stop shop

Along with the new online system the new Student Service Centres will be your first port of call for all and any university related administrative task or query. The centres will be the new home to all of the support provided by the current Student Services team, as well as administrative support offered by School or Departmental offices. You will be able register here, enrol on modules, view placements, make payments, access support and more.

A number of student support staff currently based in schools and departments will be joining the new team and will operate from the new service centres. That means that for some of the things that you currently go to your school office to do, you’ll now need to drop in to a Service Centre.

Any student, any centre

No matter what campus you study or live on, you’ll be able to access all support at any Service Centre.

Where to find your new Service Centres:

You will be able to find your new Service Centres at various locations across our campuses, as well as a small number of satellite offices providing specialised support to students in certain locations:

University Park, Jubilee Campus and QMC

MyNottingham - coming 2016/17

Accessible anywhere at any time, MyNottingham will be personalised to your individual student experience and you will be able to carry out tasks in a self-service manner.

MyNottingham will provide access to information and support in a number of areas but you will also be able to carry out all tasks in-person at the Student Service Centres if you wish. We will be able to provide more updates on precisely what it will entail and when it will be available in the near future.
