Welcome from your Director of Undergraduate Programmes Dr Natalie Moore
Congratulations on your amazing achievements. We are extremely proud to welcome you as a student to Nottingham University Business School (NUBS). NUBS holds the triple crown accreditation with AACSB, AMBA and EQUIS and is a world-class research led institution and member of the Russell Group. This is important because our teaching is informed by our research, and this means that your learning experience and opportunities available to you are applicable to the real-world.
My colleagues and I can't wait to see what you achieve in this next chapter of your journey and the contribution you can make to business practice and research as future business leaders.
Now you might think studying hard and performing well is enough. Well, I've got news for you, it's not! We need more and businesses need more. You need to make yourself stand out from the crowd and you need to enhance your CV. This means ensuring your transferable and digital skills are also developed and attractive to future employers. Here at NUBS we have support available to you to help you develop these transferable and digital skills. Watch out for the emails and announcements, and please do invest the time in yourself.

Pre-arrival Information

Registration and university email
Please ensure you register and get your university email address as soon as possible this will provide you with access to our other pages.
The UG induction programme will run from Monday 25 September to Friday 29 September 2023. Teaching will then start on Monday 2 October 2023.
NUBS UG Student Information Hub page on Moodle
Once you have registered and have your email you can login to Moodle. Please visit the Business School Undergraduate Student Information Hub (UNUK) (23-24) page and familiarise yourself with the content. We have a whole range of information to help you become part of the school's community. It will have information on your induction week and the link to your programme pages and much more.
Calculators
At some point during your studies, you may need to use calculators. There is a strict policy on the use of calculators in exams and only the following ones are permitted. If you are thinking of purchasing one before you come, please make sure it is from this list:
