Nottingham is an amazing city with lots to see and do. 

 

We have pulled together some of our favourite spots and activites to do for you to have a look through!

 

 

1. Nottingham Contemporary

Nottingham Contemporary is an art gallery based close to Hockley. It features modern art and featured artists throughout the year. With free entry you will always be able to have your fill of culture whenever you fancy. 

2. Red's True BBQ

Nottingham has loads of places to eat and drink. One place is Red's True BBQ, which has lots of amazing BBQ food for you to choose from. Nottingham has a rich culture of food, so you will always be able to eat whatever you're in the mood for!

 

 

3. Coco Tang Cafe

A chain or independent coffee shop is always round the corner in Nottingham. You can have a Starbucks or Costa, or go to a more unique place like Coco Tang cafe, or 200 degrees coffee shop. 

 

4. Lost City Adventure Golf

If you ever get bored, or just want to have a bit of fun then there is lots to do in the city. You can play 18-holes at Lost City Adventure Golf, see a movie at Cineworld, have a walk around the shops in Victoria Centre, or relive your youth by playing some arcade games at Funstation. 

 

 

5. Left Lion

The Left Lion in Market Square is the meeting place in Nottingham city centre. If you are ever meeting your friends, tell them to meet you at the Left Lion. 

 

6. Cafe Sobar

If you don't fancy an alcoholic drink or night out, there is still lots of choice for you! One of our favourite spots is Cafe Sobar, just off Market Square - they serve amazing cake!

 

 

7. Market Square

Market Square is a hotspot for chilling in town. If you have walked miles shopping, then head to Market Square and have a sit down. There is always something going on in the Square as well, like a Christmas Market and even a beach in the summer!

 

8. Public transport

Getting to Nottingham city centre is easy from our Jubilee and University Park Campuses. You can hop on a tram, bus, bike or even walk if you fancy it.
