The Helena Kennedy Foundation Bursaries

The Helena Kennedy Foundation provides support to students whose personal and financial circumstances make progression to higher education difficult.

The Helena Kennedy Foundation provides support to students whose personal and financial circumstances make progression to higher education difficult.  They provide vital financial support to their award winners, but know that worries about money are only part of the story.  The HKF award is a package of financial, personal and practical support and opportunities designed to support transition into higher education, enhance the student’s experience at university and improve chances of employment after graduation.  Successful applicants will receive a bursary of £2,250 payable in 3 instalments of £750 per year. 

To be eligible to apply you must:
 
*Have attended an FE college or Sixth form
*Reside in the UK
*Be experiencing barriers to continuing your education
*Be able to demonstrate that you face severe financial hardship.
