June 2023
Hi,
June is bursting with sustainability awareness days, starting with today, 5 June, being World Environment Day with 2023's theme plastic pollution. Reducing waste at the source is key to tackling the issue - we have some tips to help.
Bike Week and Better Transport Week swiftly follow so we're discussing how to move to more climate-friendly commuting.
30 Days Wild, Clean Air Day, and World Refill Day also take place in June!
Phew, we'd best get going!

University waste
Most university waste is collected and processed by Enva. To separate recycling, magnets, compressed air, laser scanners, and tireless human pickers are all needed! But it's still vital that we all ensure the right things go in the right bins and that recycling is clean and dry to avoid recyclable waste ending up in landfill.
Staff and student's can visit Enva's facilities for an eye-opening tour. Get in touch
