“It’s a huge pleasure to launch our Sustainability Campaign as part of a truly engaging Sustainability Action Week. Over the last 10 years, the University has met and exceeded its carbon targets and in the last year we have made a step change in achievement.

As a university, we have followed the lead of the Students’ Union and recognised the climate emergency. We want to build on from the changes brought about during lockdown, and are setting ambitious targets.

Now is the time to make everyone aware about what we are all doing around the university. To make environmental sustainability work, we all – students and staff – need to own this agenda. Let’s save the planet together!
