Investments to further the University's commitment to sustainability
Nottingham has committed to investing it's endowment portfolio in organisations that avoid harm, with no exposure to fossil fuels and a Paris aligned investment strategy. Investments will give a significant weighting to ethical, social and governance issues and have positive impacts for people and the planet.
The University has been awarded £7.6m towards the development of the UK Electrification of Aerospace Propulsion Facility, a catalyst for green economic recovery in the aerospace sector.
Urgent action is needed to revive our damaged ecosystems. As the UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration begins, our individual actions can contribute to the solutions.
