The University's Transforming Teaching Programme (TTP) is the primary means of delivering the objectives set out in the University's Global Strategy 2020 relating to Excellence in Education.
The programme contains five project areas:
- Student engagement
- Personalising students' learning experience
- Teaching leadership and development
- Digital learning
- Curriculum review
The University's Transforming Teaching Programme has a central role and is particularly effective in enhancing the student learning experience.

The sponsor of the programme is the Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Education and the Student Experience, Professor Sarah O'Hara. The programme's Academic Director is Professor Sarah Speight, and the Operations and Policy Director is Robert Dowling.
