We know it can be daunting moving to a new place and settling in to University life. That's why we guarantee a room in university accommodation for your first year, subject to a few conditions.

Our accommodation brochure provides an overview of living options, prices and a campus map showing where they are. You can also find out more about houses for families and couples, students with disabilities and other specific requests.

How to apply

Before you arrive

When you move into halls of residence on University Park or Jubilee Campus you will connect to the Student Network Service (SNS) - a high speed internet connection.

Before you arrive, you'll need to set up your laptop or computer to ensure it is compatible with our SNS so you can connect when you arrive at the University. How to complete the Pre-Arrival Scanning Service (PASS).

Settling in to halls

To make moving into halls as easy as possible, we've created a check list of all the things you need to think about before you leave home.

Living in halls is a great way to meet fellow students, make life-long friends and really embrace student life. Each year a group of students from your hall are elected to be your Junior Common Room (JCR) Committee - the JCR are here to ensure you have everything you need and are getting the best possible experience of living in halls.

Before you move in, you might want to get to know fellow students who will be living in the same halls as you. We have a dedicated Facebook group for each hall to help you get acquainted.
