You can apply for accommodation once you have firmly accepted your offer to study with us.
If you're an international student (classed as 'overseas' for fee purposes) we can guarantee you a room in University-arranged accommodation for up to the full duration of your course, providing you apply by Friday 31 July and accept your accommodation offer promptly by the deadline provided.

Can I get accommodation at Nottingham?

While we are unable to guarantee accommodation if you apply after 31 July, we hope to be able to assist the majority of applicants who apply via Clearing with an offer of University accommodation.

How to apply

Apply as soon as you firmly accept your offer to study with us.

You can apply on our accommodation webpages. You will need your UCAS number to access the form and complete the application.

If you have applied previously and held an accommodation offer but you are now in Clearing, you need to contact the Accommodation Office as your accommodation offer will be subject to review.

How is the University preparing accommodation for new students?

We are putting several measures in place to make sure University-arranged accommodation is clean and safe for our new students, including:

  • cleaning public and shared spaces on a daily basis
  • hand sanitising stations by all entrances and exits for on-campus halls of residence
  • bathrooms assigned to household groups
  • wellbeing team to support you as you transition to university life
  • contact-free meal collection, for students in catered accommodation

You can find out more on our living well in halls page. Please note that this information only applies to University-arranged on-campus accommodation.
