Biography

Julia qualified in 2013 from The University of Montreal in Canada. The following year, she went on and did a 1 year internship specialized in equine surgery at a busy referral practice in Ontario, Canada. In 2014, she undertook a 3 year surgical residency focusing solely on equine surgery as well as a masters program, back at the University of Montreal.

Julia joined The University of Nottingham in August 2017 and is mostly based at Oakham Veterinary Hospital in Rutland.

Julia's main area of research is centered on the equine stifle, more specifically meniscal injuries and degenerative joint diseases.
