Funding for energy projects

If your business is an energy innovator, or you want to become more energy efficient, talk to us about your plans.

Businesses in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire can access funded support for energy projects through Energy for Business, a programme supported by the European Regional Development Fund.

How does it work?

With access to excellent facilities and over 160 academics and researchers working in the energy field, we can find different ways to support you.

From expert consultancy and access to laboratories, to student placements and developing new products, we will agree a suitable project and work with you to make it a success.

Energy projects typically last in the region of 12 hours and are fully funded for businesses classed as SMEs in Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire and Leicestershire. Businesses who do not fall in to this category are also welcome to get in touch to explore potential for mutually beneficial collaborations.
