The benefits and financial support page of the UK government's Directgov website gives access to information on a range of benefits and how to claim them. The page includes details of: low income; bereavement; retirement; caring; workseekers; bringing up children; illness and injury; and disability benefits. A link is provided to the 'benefits adviser' which can be used to calculate entitlement to benefits by answering questions anonymously online.
