"Just In Case"- A Song About Saving
This is a nice song about saving the money you earn.  This song teaches good lessons about being ready for unexpected costs in life and being responsible.  This could also be used to teach about why author's use evidence and reasons to support a point by asking questions about why the song uses so many examples to make its point.  Also, discuss why the writer of the song used the examples he used (e.g. examples appeal to kids).  (03:00)

4.2 Scientific risk analysis

In the context of national and international legislation on the safety of food and animal feed, much of the thinking about assessing risk has come from the experience of developing legislation to cover potentially toxic chemicals. In this regard, the terms 'risk' and 'hazard' are particularly important. ENTRANSFOOD (European network safety assessment of genetically modified food crops) has defined the terms as follows:

2.3.3 Drilling

"The Vision of Sin, part IV" by Alfred, Lord Tennyson (poetry reading)
This may seem like an old man's poem but it was first published in 1842 - when Tennyson was 32. The line was originally: "Every minute dies a man, Every minute one is born;" but he changed it to "every moment...&c" after receiving a letter from Charles Babbage, the mathematician who is sometimes credited with coming up with the idea of computers or, at least, machines that could calculate. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Babbage In his letter Babbage said, "I need hardly point out to y

3.3.2 Benzene, toluene and xylene

In addition to benzene itself, the catalytic reformer also produces ethylbenzene, toluene and the isomeric xylenes directly. The demand for ethylbenzene is always great as a source of styrene monomer, but toluene does not find great use apart from a relatively small application in polyurethane. This is why most toluene is de-alkylated to increase overall benzene production. A similar problem exists with the xylenes:
