Dynamic Generation of Design Plans at the Brief Stage
The traditional approach to design and construction suffers from many limitations. As the technology becomes more available to the average users, the need for an effective and efficient solution has never been greater. This paper introduces an alternative approach to the life cycle of construction projects "application controlled process". Based on this approach, a framework for an Integrated Construction Environment (ICE) has been developed and implemented in a prototype demonstrator "SPACE" (S

The eSkeletons Project
This interactive site allows participants to learn about skeletal anatomy by viewing the bones of a human, chimpanzee, and baboon. Users select a bone from the list of four bone types on the skeletal image, and launch the bone viewer. A detailed look at each bone from six viewing angle options is provided along with the option to select another bone or make a comparison with another species (chimpanzee or baboon). The Comparative Anatomy section enables users to make direct comparisons of bones.

2.13 Key points about minerals

  1. Certain minerals are required in the body.

  2. Some minerals form essential structural components of tissues. For example, calcium, phosphorus and magnesium compounds are major components of bones and teeth. Fluoride is also important in protecting teeth from decay.

DNA topoisomerases

Topoisomerases create temporary strand breaks in DNA, thereby allowing the DNA to ‘swivel’ around the helical axis and releasing torsional strain within the area before resealing the break. With the cellular DNA in a supercoiled state, topoisomerases play a critical role in regulating both how tightly packed DNA is within the cell and the dynamic state of torsional energies during DNA processing. There are two classes of this enzyme: topoisomerase I (topo I) functions by breaking just one
