Scratch
Scratch is a new programming language that makes it easy to create your own interactive stories, animations, games, music, and art -- and share your creations on the web.
Scratch is designed to help young people (ages 8 and up) develop 21st century learning skills. As they create and share Scratch projects, young people learn important mathematical and computational ideas, while also learning to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively.

A lot has been said and written about the human brain. Some are anecdotal; some are based on scientific evidence. After all, the human brain does evoke awe, wonder, mystery and even fear. Are all of them true? Dr Sanjoy Sanyal, Professor and Course Director of Neuroscience addresses some of these issues commonly circulating on the Web and tries to arrive at some answers. Babbage: Big data versus privacy Data is becoming the world's most valuable resource. Governments use it to monitor and control their citizens. Corporations use it to persuade consumers to buy their products. But as machine learning and algorithms advance, will people still be able to harness the power of big data without losing too much individual privacy? 1.3 Views on health Already we have encountered health in many places and many guises. Having introduced the vast territory which deals with health, let’s take a few steps back and, without trying to pin it down to a single definition, start to tease out the different meanings that health has for different people. Where better to start than with yourself. Kneedbare vloeistof : Experiment Dit leermiddel daagt leerlingen uit om aan de hand van een wetenschappelijke methode te experimenteren met de verhouding water versus maiszetmeel, om hieruit een kneedbare vloeistof te maken. Introduction This course explores a number of issues relating to mental health practice. It starts by helping you define and understand the difference between mental health and mental illness. It also explores the discrimination that can arise when people experience some form of mental distress. You will look at how professionals working within the community can counter some of the effects of discrimination and stigma and contribute to the well-being of the wider community, as well as those who use their Heterogeneity of photosystem II as it occurs in domain specific regions of the thylakoid membrane of PROPERTY/REAL ESTATE: Covenants: Profs. In the classroom There are many possible strategies for making more use of visualisation within the mathematics classroom. There are several visualisation activities for you to experiment with in Activity 3. One teacher's approach to incorporating visualisation is given in the following case study and three-part video clip.
Thylakoid membrane fractions were prepared from specific regions of thylakoid membranes
of spinach (Spinacia oleracea). These fractions, which include grana (83), stroma (T3), grana core
(8S), margins (Ma) and purified stroma (Y100) were prepared using a non-detergent method
including a mild sonication and aqueous two-phase partitioning.
The significance of PSlla and PSII~ centres have been described extensively in the

The Graphical representation of eigenvectors simulation aims to help students make connections between graphical and mathematical representations of eigenvectors and eigenvalues. The simulation depicts the two components of a unit vector in the xy-plane, and the same vector under several different transformations that can be chosen by the user. A slider allows students to change the orientation of the initial vector. The simulation shows whether or not the vector is an eigenvector, and if so dis
