The Phantom Of The Opera (snippet)
In this concert-like setting on stage, Sarah Brightman & Antonio Banderas sing together. This is not from the musical production. The lighting is a bit dark, but the picture is good. The sound quality is excellent. (6:22)
Student experiences of enterprise education
This report outlines data collected from students across a broad range of subject areas across all Faculties of Leeds Met University. This data was generated in response to a questionnaire designed to obtain information on students experiences of enterprise education
2.5 What's this got to do with sport? So, we've seen three ways of looking at the how the body works. This is useful science but what has this to do with sport? Do athletes really need to think about their bodies scientifically, or can they just get on and compete in their own sport? Yes, athletes (or someone in their support team) really do have to think about their bodies in these ways. One obvious example is that athletes have to know what happens when they eat before a competition. In conversation with Director Tsai Ming-Lang: Stray Dogs 1.2 The peptide bond and primary structure of proteins The primary structure of a protein is defined as the sequence of amino acids of which it is composed. This sequence ultimately determines the shape that the protein adopts, according to the spatial limitations on the arrangement of the atoms in the protein, the chemical properties of the component amino acid residues, and the protein's environment. The peptide bonds that link amino acid residues in a polypeptide are formed in a condensation reaction between the acidic carboxyl gr The impact of enterprise focussed modules Why We Love Star Wars | BFI Sand Mandala at Numen Lumen Pavilion Export photos to Flickr 2.2 Persistent currents lead to constant magnetic flux An important consequence of the persistent currents that flow in materials with zero resistance is that the magnetic flux that passes through a continuous loop of such a material remains constant. To see how this comes about, consider a ring of metal, enclosing a fixed area A, as shown in Figure 6a. An initial magnetic field B0 is applied perpendicular to the plane of the ring when the temperature is above the critical temperature of the material from which the rin Apple’s Beats Buy: Desperation or Opportunity? Analogously, if p is the vector 2 cm E and q is the vector 3 cm NE, we can think of the ‘sum’ p + q of the vectors as follows. Starting from a given point, O say, draw the vector p; starting from its finishi Conclusion This free course provided an introduction to studying the arts and humanities. Two Buddhist monks visited campus this week through Elon University's Truitt Center for Religious and Spiritual Life. Over the course of three days, they meticulously crafted a breathtaking sand mandala. During a closing ceremony on Friday afternoon, they wiped away all their hard work and packaged it to share with all in attendance.

Purchasing the music products and streaming service firm Beats Electronics was a rare move for Apple. According to Wharton’s Peter Fader, the acquisition shows that the company realizes the iTunes download model is rapidly becoming obsolete.

Optical-fibre communications became commercially viable in the 1970s and innovation continues today. This unit will illustrate how very high data rates can be transmitted over long distances through optical fibres. You will learn how these fibres are linked, examine the technology used and assess the future direction of this continually developing area of communication.

NASA Public Affairs Officer Amiko Kauderer talks with Dr. Douglas Matson of Tufts University about the Electromagnetic Levitator, a piece of physics experiment hardware operating in the station’s Columbus laboratory. The EML is a furnace that can heat metals to more than 2000 degrees Celsius and then cool them rapidly, and by doing so in a weightless environment—with the samples suspended in mid-air—allows scientists to more clearly observe some of the complex core processes of physics.
