The Texas Association of Chicanos in Higher Education-Del Mar chapter (TACHE) held its annual Silent Auction scholarship fundraiser in November.
This segment of the "DMC Upside" television program was featured in the December 2012 edition, which airs on cable channel 19 in Corpus Christi. The "DMC Upside" is produced by DMC TV.
"DMC Upside": STEM Open House
Del Mar College's Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Advisory Group hosted their first Science Open House in November 2012. During the open house, professors/advisors recognized high-performance majors for their efforts in the classroom and laboratory. Non-majors with an interest in science were also invited to attend and ask questions about the programs.
