Los Angeles-based street artist Shepard Fairey is part of the Halsey Institute of Contemporary Art's 30th Anniversary exhibition during Spoleto Festvial USA. As part of the exhibit, Fairey painted murals in five downtown Charleston locations, including the front of the College Lodge residence hall at the College of Charleston. College Lodge is a beloved dorm for students and was originally opened in 1964 as the Downtowner Motor Inn.
