Quelle mobilité pour quelle urbanité? - Jacques LEVY (video)
La mobilité ne se réduit pas au simple déplacement. Rapport social au changement de lieu, elle comprend une partie non actualisée, d'autant plus importante que l'accessibilité s'étend. Meet Feng Zhang
(4:12) Feng Zhang, a member of the McGovern Institute for Brain Research at MIT, is designing new molecular tools for manipulating the living brain. As a student, he played a major role in the development of optogenetics, a technology by which the brain’s electrical activity can be controlled with light-sensitive proteins. This short video clip shows many close-ups of the red fox, and her babies. There is no narration, but the professionally-made video footage and sounds from nature help to bring the red fox into the classroom for your students to observe. This would be a nice compliment to the poem Over in the Meadow, where the red fox mother tells her baby cubs to "run."

Alphabet Road--"F" Is For Farm--"My Farm Story"
My Farm Story: Children, get to answer questions about where milk comes from in their own words. There is so much to see and learn that their answers often change. A variety of questions are asked about farm life throughout video. Teachers can use this as a time to answer questions in group setting. This is a good resource for the early childhood classroom to use in conjunction with a lesson/unit on farms and after reading non-fiction texts on this topic. (4:09)
