20.011J Statistical Thermodynamics of Biomolecular Systems (BE.011J) (MIT)
This course provides an introduction to the physical chemistry of biological systems. Topics include: connection of macroscopic thermodynamic properties to microscopic molecular properties using statistical mechanics, chemical potentials, equilibrium states, binding cooperativity, behavior of macromolecules in solution and at interfaces, and solvation. Example problems include protein structure, genomic analysis, single molecule biomechanics, and biomaterials.

The different way in which Scotland began to be incorporated into the UK, through monarchical ascent (of James I of Scotland to the English throne) rather than by conquest (as was the case in Wales and Ireland), may account for the lesser impact the develo 2.3 Addition of vectors We saw above that the vector 2v can be regarded as the vector v ‘followed by’ the vector v; we can also quite naturally describe this vector as being the ‘sum’, v + v, of the vector with itself. Analogously, if p is the vector 2 cm E and q is the vector 3 cm NE, we can think of the ‘sum’ p + q of the vectors as follows. Starting from a given point, O say, draw the vector p; starting from its finishi German history in documents and images Creative enterprise in west Yorkshire Arts organisations 5.12 Organic Chemistry I (MIT) Creative enterprise in west Yorkshire Arts organisations Introduction This course shows how partial differential equations can be used to model phenomena such as waves and heat transfer. The prerequisite requirements to gain full advantage from this course are an understanding of ordinary differential equations and basic familiarity with partial differential equations. This report describes and theorises the findings of a workshop discussion, commissioned by WYLLN, into the views of arts organizations on the challenges they face in becoming more enterprising and less grant dependent.
This subject deals primarily with the basic principles to understand the structure and reactivity of organic molecules. Emphasis is on substitution and elimination reactions and chemistry of the carbonyl group. The course also provides an introduction to the chemistry of aromatic compounds.

This paper shows academic tutors take on a multitude of roles in their current positions at university and while teaching is expected, from most, it is often assumed that the tutor will apply appropriate pedagogical tools to convey knowledge to the students. This view is now being challenged as many students are being actively encouraged to voice their views of the teaching and learning experience this paper shows
In this video 6th and 7th grade teachers Katie Facto and Kim Mayher use Google Maps with their students. This video is helpful to Social Studies teachers who are on map skills. This is also a great way to show a teacher how to integrate technology into a social studies class.
