Dr. McKibbin graduated with High Honors and a Bachelor of Chemical Engineering Degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Meet Kristoff R. Reid, M.D. Dr. Reid was awarded his M.D. by Washington University in St.Louis. He completed his Residency at Johns Hopkins Hospital and a Fellowship at Duke University. Dr Reid graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point and served our country in United States Army. His specialties are Orthopaedic traumatology and General orthopaedics.

The Kent State University Hotel and Conference Center in downtown Kent opened to the public June 14, with a launch event scheduled for October. The hotel is part of the million-dollar redevelopment of downtown Kent, and is a partnership between the Kent State University Foundation and the Pizzuti Companies of Columbus, Ohio.
Using off-the-shelf GPS and video equipment, Andrew Curtis, director of the Kent State Geographic Information Systems Health and Hazards lab, and his team of graduate and doctoral students have spent the past few years mapping the damage and recovery efforts in towns hit by powerful tornadoes.

Today's smartphones allow for increased opportunities for activities traditionally defined as sedentary behaviors, such as surfing the internet, emailing and playing video games. However, researchers Jacob Barkley and Andrew Lepp, faculty members in the College of Education, Health and Human Services at Kent State University, linked high cell phone use to poor fitness in college students.
