Dr. Jun Wu, a partner with Zpark ventures, was most recently a scientist at Google, leading the effort of automatic question/answering. After doctorate work at Johns Hopkins, honing an expertise in speech recognition, natural language processing and web search he joined Google in the early days and pioneered their anti-SPAM work, for which he received the Google engineering award. He also authored the Google Chinese/Japanese/Korean search algorithms.
After Google he went to work at Tencent.
