Esta asignatura extiende los conocimientos de los alumnos en la materia de redes de ordenadores tratando aspectos fundamentales en la redes de comunicaciones actuales tales como el diseño y configuración de arquitecturas de red, protocolos de encaminamiento, mecanismos de control de congestión así como temas más novedosos IPv6 o el control e ingeniería de tráfico.

The survey covers the post-Roman period to the present and has particular emphasis on the city's walls.
