The virtual teams are largely encouraged by the recent technological devices supporting different-place collaboration and suggest today new forms of organization. This one is geographically dispersed and regroups all the competencies required for the work to be done. In such a context, trust is essential to guarantee the performance of team. 3.1.1 (A) Science and certainty Pupils should appreciate why much scientific knowledge, particularly that taught in school science, is well established and beyond reasonable doubt, and why other scientific knowledge is more open to legitimate doubt. It should also be explained that current scientific knowledge is the best that we have but may be subject to change in the future, given new evidence or new interpretation of old evidence.
CAAD: Education - Research and Practice [Conference Proceedings]
In the announcement of the sixth eCAADe Conference we stated that It is held at a time where CAAD is moving into practice very fast, with heavy influence on research and education. We stated that research is directed towards the early design phases, and that education is facing the problem of mass education.
In that situation much benefit can be obtained from collaboration with practice. We decided to give the conference the title ?CAAD: Education - Research and Practice? to state the importanc

Present study primarily aims to outline a theoretical framework for developing a computational model towards the creative use of architectural precedents in architectural design education. It departs from a short summary of the critical/formalist approach as the model that we adopt for the studio education, and goes on with a discussion on paradigms or precedents as the containers of knowledge and as the primary focus of the studio model as important elements of architectural design education. The world of the early modern period (C10th - C16th) was one of religious obsession, power struggles and plunder. But it was also a world of stunning artistic endeavour. This collection shows how, encoded in the art and architecture of the time, you can find stories of political machinations, female influence and surging movements of people. We may think our own era has a monopoly on long-distance travel, but in the mediaeval period it was perfectly possible for Western Catholic artists to enc
Recent debate on the role and affordability of scientific research has too often been presented as a choice between 'blue skies science' and 'useful' engineering. This public lecture at the University of Bath by Professor Sir Richard Friend on 5 April 2011 argues that this is a highly mistaken outlook.
