The Busy World of Richard Scarry-Imagine That - X-ray Eyes
In this video Huckle and Lowly Worm learn about x-rays. If you had x-ray eyes you could see an inside view. An x-ray machine takes a picture to see inside of you. Airports check your luggage with an x-ray machine. This is a good teaching resource to help build background knowledge for elementary and/or special education students. This video would work well in conjunction with a thematic unit on community helpers, health, and the human body. (1:06)

Nicholas Shaxson and Maurice Glasman look at how this secretive network emerged and came to underpin the City's fearsome political and economic powers today. Maurice Glasman, recently appointed Labour Peer and Reader in Political Theory at London Metropolitan University. He is the auth

The Clean Up Robot Song teaches students about clean up time in a different, creative way. Some of the lyrics include----"I am the clean up robot. Having so much fun putting toys away. Doing what my teachers say. Throwing trash away," etc. This would be a good teaching resource for the beginning of the year when elementary students are learning procedures and routines. This would be well suited for young students and/or special education students. (2:04)
"Add 'Em Up" teaches students about using counters to add. It gives examples like 1+1=2, 3+1=4, etc. It shows the number problem plus counters (all adding one). This would be a good teaching resource for young elementary students and/or special education students. It would be beneficial for an introductory lesson or for remediation.(3:18)
