2014 Rose-Walters Prize Winner: James Balog
Author, scientist and award-winning photographer James Balog received the 2014 Sam Rose '58 and Julie Walters Prize at Dickinson College for Global Environmental Activism. In these special circumstances, since the normal rules do not apply, we have to develop a set of special rules to guide practice.
Studying China
This summer five UCL students spent three weeks in Shanghai as part of the Study China Programme. Three of these students, Lin, Kylie and Rohini, armed with Flipcams and digital cameras, captured the highlights of their trip, which included Mandarin and calligraphy lessons, home visits and excursions to towns around Shanghai.
