Global Climate Change Lesson
Students learn how the greenhouse effect is related to global warming and how global warming impacts our planet, including global climate change. Extreme weather events, rising sea levels, and how we react to these changes are the main points of focus of this lesson.
Loss of sea otters, loss of kelp forests
Events that affect one population typically affect other populations. This phenomenon is demonstrated by the otter-urchin-kelp connection.

Noves tecnologies aplicades a l'educació

4.1 The varied structures of RNA
This unit helps you understand the properties of nucleotides and how they contribute to secondary and tertiary structures of nucleic acids at the molecular level. You will learn about the different composition and roles of nucleic acids in the cell, their interactions with each other and the use of ribozymes, aptamers, antisense and hybridization as tools in molecular research. The unit covers the function of DNA packaging within the cell, the interactions between the DNA double helix and the nu
