The Development of this resource
The development of this resource has been participant led throughout. The project development team therefore has included:
- Older women as survivors of domestic violence and abuse
- An independent drama practitioner
- A small group of academic health care researchers with a research interest in domestic violence and abuse
- A locally based domestic abuse charity
- The Health, e-learning and media team (HELM) at the University of Nottingham
The resource was developed over the period of approximately six months through a workshop based approach.
Artefacts and text for the resource were developed during the workshops and the materials refined and agreed at subsequent workshops. The process of co-production has ensured that all participants have taken ownership of all stages of the production from initial thoughts through to the final published resource.
