4. Fire procedures

Fire procedures will vary slightly from area to area, and you will find out more about these as you work thorough this resource. However there are three key things to remember, wherever you find yourself when a fire breaks out:

• has the alarm been raised?
• what to do on hearing the alarm when a fire is detected
• has a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEPS) been implemented?
