Nottingham University hosts a multidisciplinary team of microbiologists, immunologists, and chemists who are directing their research efforts to the elucidation of quorum sensing in bacterial pathogens. The application of quorum sensing as a target for the development of novel anti-infective agents is our major activity in providing “quality of life enhancement” from the public funding of our research. Research is based in laboratories in the Centre for Biomolecular Sciences and The School of Molecular Medical Sciences. For details of QS research at Nottingham, click here.
