Call for Papers

The 24th EG-ICE International Workshop will bring together international experts working on the applications of computing to engineering problems. It is intended to be a small-scale, but high-quality and single-track event focussing on the promotion, dissemination and exchange of knowledge and ideas through intensive discussions.

The European Group of Intelligent Computing in Engineering (EG-ICE) has been established to promote research and applications of advanced informatics to all aspects of engineering. The primary goals of the group are to promote advanced informatics research across Europe by encouraging and improving contacts between researchers, fostering research collaboration and enhancing awareness of the latest developments. The group maintains active contact with similar groups in countries outside Europe and encourages membership by non-Europeans. Moreover, the group has a further aim to increase the awareness of industry of advanced informatics.

A selection of conference papers will be invited to submit extended versions to a special issue of the Advanced Engineering Informatics journal. In addition, we will invite selected papers to be published in a special issue of the journal Advances in Computational Design.

Venue

The workshop will be held on the University Park campus of the University of Nottingham. This campus is the University’s largest campus at 300 acres and it is widely regarded as one of the most attractive in the country. Nottingham can be reached by train from most of the major UK cities and via the East Midlands Airport (21 km from venue), the Birmingham International Airport (2h train connection to venue), and several London airports (3h train connection to venue). For more information please visit the Venue page.
