Research Student,
Amy is a Midlands 4 Cities funded PhD researcher at the University of Nottingham in her third year of research. Her thesis is titled Shakespeare and Discourses of Relevance and concerns depictions of Shakespeare as 'relevant' across fiction and non-fiction books, performances and their paratexts, and educational resources. Her broader research interests include theatre and performance histories, women's writing (with a focus on Young Adult literature), and adaptations of canonical works, especially those by William Shakespeare and Jane Austen.
Amy has particular knowledge of using archives in theatre research and writing about live performance.
