Nathan Waddell is a Lecturer in Modernist Literature in the School of English, University of Nottingham, UK. He is the author of Modern John Buchan (2009) and Modernist Nowheres (2012). He is a co-editor of a special issue (2013) of the journal Modernist Cultures devoted to 'Musicality and Modernist Form', and is currently researching a book about literature, music, and politics at the turn of the twentieth century.
