Winter Meeting 2020

Date

Monday 14 - Wednesday 16 December 2020

Venue

The EWMES2020 has moved online

For over 50 years, the European Winter Meetings of the Econometric Society have fostered interaction among a small group of young scholars and a group of senior academics representing different regions and fields of specialisation.

Many of today's leading European economists kick-started their careers at one of these meetings. At the turn of the century, the meetings began to focus on PhD students close to finishing their thesis.

European Job Market for Economists 2020

The ESWM2020 will run in parallel with another online event: the third European Job Market for Economists co-sponsored by the European Economic Association (EEA), the Royal Economic Society (RES) and the Spanish Economic Association (SEA). From 2020 onwards the two events will take place simultaneously over three days.

The Job Market will be held online between 14 and 16 December 2020.

Access the WMES2020 programme.
