There are a wide-range of world-leading COVID-19 research projects taking place across the University into COVID-19. If you give permission for your sample to be used for research, it can be stored and used by researchers for a variety of different projects. You will be contacted by researchers to get your consent for each specific project and you can withdraw consent at any time. We are particularly interested in getting participants for a new research project linked to the establishment of the testing service. The Track COVID study is funded by the Medical Research Council and aims to understand more about how the virus spreads on campus and the link with behavioural factors such as social distancing, getting tested for COVID-19 and having to self-isolate. By taking part in this research you will be able to help us, as well as researchers across the UK, understand these challenges better and what we need to do differently to support you in keeping well and safe.
