For most people it was the first time they visited one of our beautifully landscaped campuses.
Thousands have felt it in our lecture theatres and halls of residence, in our laboratories and as members of our societies and sports teams.
Some people have felt it whilst watching videos of our academics on YouTube, for others it came when they discovered their favourite place to enjoy a spot of lunch by the lake.
We can all remember that moment when we realised that The University of Nottingham was the place we were meant to be. This August, thousands of new students will get that feeling as they open their A level results, confirming their place at Nottingham and we want to celebrate their success with them.
