Prince of Wales visits UoN Malaysia campus

 Prince Charles UNMC 714x249

His Royal Highness The Prince of Wales (Prince Charles) visited the University of Nottingham Malaysia campus last week during his first visit to Malaysia.

His Royal Highness was on campus to launch the 2017 Commonwealth Youth Summit. After launching the event he took time to meet students and learn about some of the student societies that are making a difference in the local community.

Hundreds gathered to catch a glimpse of His Royal Highness.

The visit also included a trip to Crops for the Future (CFF), where The Prince of Wales saw world-changing research into ‘forgotten foods’ and how maximising the potential of the world’s underutilised crops might address global food security issues. He helped to officially launch the ‘Forgotten Foods Network’, a new platform for sharing information on foods, recipes and traditions that are in danger of being lost.
