Access to University Park East Service Centre disrupted

Access to the University Park East (UP East) Service Centre will be restricted on:

• Monday 12 November – Thursday 15 November inclusively 
• Monday 19 November – Thursday 22 November inclusively 

While the Student Service Centre will remain open, access will be via the outside steps only. The usual alternative access via the ramp will be closed for safety reasons, as work takes place to service largescale scientific equipment located in this area.  

Students who need to visit the service centre and who are not able to use the stairs are advised to visit the University Park Central Service Centre in the Portland Building. Alternatively, during this period only, access to UP East for students with mobility restrictions will be allowed via the staff office B106. This can be reached via a side door into the Physics Building and then up to the first floor in the lift. For help with access, please ring 0115 7486604 or 0115 7486605.
