The programme is running from Monday 1 October until Sunday 18 November and anyone is welcome to attend any event, regardless of which hall it’s being hosted in. This is your chance to explore the campus, familiarise yourself with the services and support available to you, and make new friends.
Highlights in the past few weeks have included screen printing, back-to-back episodes of David Attenborough, and a visit from Guide Dogs UK’s four-legged ambassadors.
There are still plenty of exciting events to come, including:
- dance and Zumba
- jewellery-making workshops
- choir taster sessions
- body conditioning sessions
- wildlife workshops
- question Time events
- hand drumming
- ballet fitness
- chocolate truffle making classes
- pumpkin carving competitions
- communal drawing sessions
- herb-growing classes
- yoga classes
- screen printing workshops
- retro video game evenings
- circus skills classes
- book clubs
- sculpture building
With Welcome Week drifting into long-term memory, this is a great opportunity for you to continue trying new things and meeting new people.
