Men’s Health Active is a new initiative designed to encourage male students to use sport and physical activity to help them maintain good levels of mental health.
The Autumn Semester will see a programme of sports and classes to help male students get active. There will also be talk shops, which will be supported sessions outside of the fitness environment, allowing you to discuss these issues in an informal manner.
Active sessions include boxing, climbing and football, as well as strength training and flexibility sessions. The programme will kick off with a boxing session at the David Ross Sports Village at 6pm on Monday 14 December.
There’s no need to register – just turn up to the session of your choice and make yourself known at the reception desk.
If you need additional support accessing any of these sessions, please email br-mha-sport@exmail.nottingham.ac.uk.
