For some staff, menopause can impact on health, wellbeing and their working experience for usually a limited time period. Small steps by managers and colleagues can make a big difference at this time, but stigma and lack of knowledge can mean that these steps are not asked for nor offered.
The people impacted by menopause can be a much more diverse group than is typically considered, including people of different genders and age groups.
In this session we will explore some of the University’s suggestions and expectations for how to empower and support staff who may be impacted by menopause.
