Through the U21 network we are actively engaged in a range of collaborative activities with like-minded universities around the world. This enables us to:
The Universitas 21 network supports staff and students in many activities at the University of Nottingham.
The joint PhD programme, launched by the Universitas 21 network in May 2009, enables doctoral students to embark on joint degrees which will considerably enhance their research and employment opportunities on an international scale.
The network of Universitas 21 universities has opened up student mobility options to a much wider group of students at Nottingham through the options of semester long programmes, summer schools and specialist research conferences.
University of Nottingham staff can also benefit from the network, whether this is though a collaborative group or by taking part in a specialised conference. We have a central fund to help staff towards the costs of travelling to partners and to help support U21 projects.
