The Joint Services Data Exchange (JSDE) and The Institute of Navigation (ION) will co-sponsor the Joint Navigation Conference (JNC) 2010. The conference will take place at the Wyndham Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida.

JNC 2010 will be the largest U.S. military navigation conference of the year with joint service and government participation. The event will focus on technical advances in Guidance, Navigation, and Control (GN&C) with emphasis on joint development, test and support of affordable GN&C systems, logistics, and integration.

JNC conference attendance will be restricted to: US Government, US Government contractors, and Allied personnel from Australia, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Foreign national participation will be limited to AUS, CAN and UK only. This “4 eyes” restriction applies to the entire conference: unclassified and classified sessions. All attendees for the FOUO sessions require approved visit requests. Advance visit requests and approvals are required for all attendees. Foreign national visit requests must be received in accordance with USSTRATCOM policy.

Mission of the JSDE: The purpose of the JSDE is to review and improve the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT) capabilities of the U. S. Department of Defense and U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Mission of the ION: The Institute of Navigation is the world's premier non-profit professional society dedicated to the advancement of the art and science of positioning, navigation and timing (PNT). Founded in 1945, it serves a diverse community including those interested in air, space, marine, land navigation, and position determination. Its membership is worldwide, and it is affiliated with the International Association of Institutes of Navigation.
