Professor Kibe, Head of the Indian GNSS programme at ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) will deliver a lecture and update on the status of the Indian GNSS programme.

The Indian government have recently committed to investing excess of 300 million USD in strengthening their capability in GNSS including GAGAN (GPS Aided GEO Augmented Navigation-Technology Demonstration System) and IRNSS (Indian Regional Navigational Satellite System) and potential plans for the creation of GINS (Global Indian Navigation System).

The event is free of charge and will take place at 5pm in A19 of the Nottingham Geospatial Building at the University of Nottingham. It will also include tea and coffee.
