G-STEP invites you to participate in a unique opportunity to help direct the further development of a  Freight Route Mapping Application.  G-STEP is working with Leicester City Council and a road haulage group looking at efficiency and safety of delivery to specified industrial areas of the city. As development has progressed G-STEP has been excited by suggestions to expand the application and hopes you are able to attend to add your valuable user assessment and input into the further development of this mobile device based routing system. FREE interactive breakfast workshop to introduce a novel freight route mapping service for mobile devices. This is a fully interactive session where delegates will have the opportunity to test and provide valuable input to further develop a user orientated application.

Introduction to GIS and data manipulation – what’s in a layer?

Mapping efficient and safe freight routes – development of the pilot

An opportunity to participate in trials of the prototype on a mobile device.
