Open Innovation Forum Food & FMCG Pitching Event
Open Innovation (OI) is looking for 15 researchers, innovators and technology developers to pitch their ideas on innovative solutions to business challenges ranging from interactive packaging, tracking systems and digital consumer interaction to energy and water sustainability. The competition is free to enter but the deadline for registration is 31 August 2013
The Pitching event will then be held on 14 October 2013 at Colworth Science Park
All shortlisted entrants will get the chance to pitch their ideas in front of a panel of influential judges, while the chosen winners will receive a certificate and trophy. The shortlisted companies will also be invited to attend the whole OI Forum day (otherwise restricted to OI Forum members) which will provide valuable insights into how large companies approach innovation as well as opportunities to network. This will include a free morning’s seminar looking at what Open Innovation means from the perspective of large and small companies, investors and legal advisers
The event is being held in collaboration with major food and FMCG companies such as Mars, Unilever, General Mills, Tate & Lyle, Bacardi and Crown Packaging, and will be an exceptional opportunity to gain valuable feedback on your innovative ideas and concepts.
