Satellite Masters Conference 2014

The conference will showcase a unique portfolio of innovative applications based on satellite navigation and Earth observation capabilities. Together with ESA space solutions, the conference will focus on entrepreneurial spirit and the impact of space technologies on business and society.

The event’s outstanding blend of conference sessions, workshops, and round-table discussions will be centred around leveraging satellite-derived data and other space solutions for sectors as diverse as mobile & mobility, health, and agriculture.

The conference targets start-ups, SMEs, researchers, investors, and major corporations alike in providing a unique marketplace for sharing ideas on challenges and corresponding solutions.

The event will be capped off by the annual Awards Ceremony of Europe’s major innovation competitions for space applications – the European Satellite Navigation Competition and Copernicus Masters. The most exciting awardees will also present their business cases during the conference, along with entrepreneurial success stories recounted from previous competitions and
from the European Space Agency’s Business Incubation Programme.
